Description

Build the Underwriter OS application using Next.js/React for the frontend and FastAPI/Python for the backend. Develop and orchestrate AI agents that translate underwriting guidelines into agent instructions, integrate them into the application, and connect to core insurance systems. Deploy AI and data extraction solutions on Azure with containers and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build the Underwriter OS application (frontend in Next.js/React, backend in FastAPI/Python)
• Build and orchestrate AI agents from underwriting guidelines
• Integrate agents into the application (e.g., extend LangChain/LangGraph orchestrators)
• Integrate with policy administration systems, rating engines, DMS, CRM, broker portals, and Outlook
• Create data extraction pipelines from broker documents
• Deploy solutions on Azure using containers and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial developer experience
• 2+ years of Data Science/AI experience, with at least 1 year of production deployments
• Strong knowledge of React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Strong Microsoft Azure knowledge (Azure Blob Storage, Document Intelligence, AI Foundry)
• Solid understanding of LangGraph (or similar) plus prompt engineering and context engineering
• Practical MLOps experience (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Knowledge of NLP/OCR and experience with unstructured data
• Understanding of AI governance and AI Act regulatory requirements
• Native/fluent Polish for communication
