Description

You will help build Underwriter OS, a modern insurance platform that uses AI agents, language models, and automated document processing to support business processes. The role combines Python/FastAPI and React/Next.js with Azure-based production systems, including GenAI and MLOps capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python/FastAPI and React/Next.js application features

• Design and build AI agents using LangGraph / LangChain

• Build document data-extraction processes using Azure Document Intelligence

• Integrate internal systems (CRM, DMS, policy systems, Outlook)

• Deploy solutions on Azure

• Evolve the MLOps environment and CI/CD processes

• Create prompts and context engineering mechanisms for AI agents

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on AI-based solution design

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AI/Data Science, including production deployments

• Strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, and SQL

• Experience with React or Next.js

• Experience with Azure

• Knowledge of LangGraph, LangChain, prompt engineering, and context engineering

• Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and AI agents

• Practical MLOps experience (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Understanding of AI Governance and AI Act

• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical people

• English language level B2 or higher
