Description

You will join a cross-functional team to deliver AI agents and modern applications that support underwriters and automate underwriting workflows. The work combines full-stack development with production AI engineering using LLM/agent orchestration and Azure cloud services, integrated with key business systems such as policy platforms and rating engines.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement AI agent and LLM-based solutions for underwriting support

• Develop modern web applications with React/Next.js and backend APIs with Python/FastAPI

• Use Azure AI services (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, Blob Storage) to power AI features

• Integrate AI applications with enterprise business systems (policy systems and rating engines)

• Apply MLOps practices to productionize AI workflows and services

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Science/AI, including at least 1 year of production deployments

• Strong React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI knowledge

• Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Document Intelligence, and AI Foundry

• Experience with LangGraph (or similar orchestration tools), prompt engineering, and context engineering

• Experience with PostgreSQL and strong SQL skills

• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)

• Practical MLOps experience: Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

• Azure cloud experience

• Understanding of AI governance requirements and the AI Act

• Technical degree (Math, Computer Science, STEM, Engineering)

• Analytical, structured approach and ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences

• Proactive ownership from idea to implementation

• Ability to work from Poland and in a hybrid setup (minimum 3 days/week in the PZU office)
