Description

You’ll develop Underwriter OS, a modern application that connects a React/Next.js UI with a Python/FastAPI backend and orchestrated AI agents to transform underwriting processes. The system integrates with insurance ecosystem platforms (policy administration, tarification, DMS, CRM, broker portals, Outlook) and uses data extraction and prompt-engineering based on insurance guidelines. Everything is deployed on Azure with containerized CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features from idea to production deployment

• Develop data extraction pipelines from broker documents

• Create prompt engineering strategies aligned with insurance guidelines

• Integrate with policy administration platforms, tarification engines, DMS, CRM, broker portals, and Outlook

• Deploy solutions on Azure using containerized CI/CD workflows

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in Data Science/AI, including at least 1 year of production deployments

• Strong React/Next.js proficiency

• Strong Python and FastAPI proficiency

• Azure Blob Storage and Azure Document Intelligence expertise

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry

• LangGraph (or similar) orchestration and prompt engineering experience

• PostgreSQL and SQL fluency

• MLOps hands-on experience (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
