Description

Join a newly established cross-functional team transforming complex business processes using Artificial Intelligence and cloud technologies. You will build an AI-powered underwriting platform—intelligent agents, modern web applications, integrations with enterprise systems, and document processing using OCR and AI. The role focuses on designing from scratch and deploying scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure while ensuring AI governance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern full-stack applications with React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI

• Build and orchestrate AI agents using LangGraph, LangChain, and LLM-based architectures

• Develop document processing and data extraction solutions using OCR and AI

• Integrate with enterprise systems (policy administration platforms, CRM, document repositories, email services)

• Deploy and maintain solutions on Microsoft Azure using containers and CI/CD pipelines

• Translate business and underwriting requirements into AI-driven solutions

• Drive architecture decisions and mentor team members on best engineering practices

• Ensure compliance with AI Governance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning, including at least 1 year of production deployments

• Strong Python and FastAPI experience

• Strong React and Next.js experience

• Hands-on Azure services experience: Azure AI Foundry, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Blob Storage

• Hands-on LangGraph/LangChain (or similar orchestration frameworks)

• Strong prompt engineering and context engineering

• Experience with PostgreSQL

• Solid Python ecosystem knowledge: Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow

• Solid SQL skills

• MLOps experience: Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

• Knowledge of NLP, OCR, and processing unstructured data

• Knowledge of AI Governance and AI Act requirements

• Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
