Description

You will lead backend architecture development for Connector 2.0, support the engineering team technically, and implement and improve key project technologies. The stack includes Java 17+, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Docker, Nomad, Oracle DB 19c, and MinIO. You will focus on quality, performance, and maintainability while designing and delivering new backend functionality.

Responsibilities

• Support the development team in defining and delivering technical tasks

• Analyze, verify, and plan technology evolution for the project

• Implement new technologies in project teams, including leading trainings and mentoring

• Develop backend architecture

• Design and implement new features

• Create and improve unit and integration tests

• Support teams with software engineering best practices and technical decisions

• Ensure quality, performance, and maintainability

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Java programming

• Minimum 3 years with Java 17+

• Minimum 2 years in a Technical Lead / Java backend technical lead role

• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Spring Boot, relational databases, and ORM frameworks (Hibernate)

• Experience with GitLab and Maven

• Ability to create unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito)

• Knowledge of design patterns

• Knowledge of integration platforms, APIs, and channels used by energy operators, especially Unicorn (ECP/EDX)

• Team collaboration skills

• Independence, responsibility, and on-time delivery

• High communication competencies

• Nice to have: Oracle RDBMS / Oracle Database 19c, Python, basic knowledge of Linux
