Description

Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting outputs for corporate impact. Develop Power Query transformations, semantic data models, and DAX measures; clean and model quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources, including survey responses. Ensure data quality through validation rules and reconciliations, integrate with Microsoft 365 tools, and support testing, deployment, and business-as-usual support.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accessible Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting outputs

  • Build robust Power Query transformations, semantic data models, relationships, calculations, and DAX measures

  • Clean, process, and model quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources (including surveys and stakeholder feedback)

  • Implement data-quality checks, validation rules, exception reporting, and reconciliations

  • Apply agreed KPI definitions, calculation logic, metadata, ownership, and governance controls

  • Integrate reporting with SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate to automate repeatable reporting activities

  • Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate reporting questions into visualisations and iterate via feedback

  • Support testing, deployment, access management, refresh monitoring, issue resolution, and transition into BAU support

  • Produce technical documentation: data dictionaries, report specifications, test evidence, user guidance, and handover materials

  • Contribute analytical evidence for stakeholder and organisational engagement data discovery and future investment roadmap

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience developing Power BI solutions (Power Query, DAX, data modelling, visualisation)

  • Experience connecting and preparing data from SharePoint and Microsoft 365 sources; working with Teams, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate

  • Experience cleaning, processing, and modelling quantitative and qualitative data, including survey responses

  • Practical understanding of data governance, data quality assurance, validation, reconciliation, and controlled reporting

  • Ability to analyse business processes and translate stakeholder needs into clear, usable reporting and insight products

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills

  • Experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting repeatable reporting solutions (not only one-off dashboards)

  • Fluent English
