Description

Long-term position with an industrial client in energy management and production analytics. You will turn operational and energy data into reliable reports, KPIs, and recommendations for management and technical teams by building Power BI dashboards and modeling metrics with DAX. You will also prepare, consolidate, validate, and migrate data from multiple enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the client to gather requirements and interpret results for business users

• Design, develop, and administer Power BI reports and dashboards (KPI cockpits, energy and environmental reporting, operational indicators)

• Design data models, metrics, and business logic in DAX

• Transform and prepare data in Power Query; automate data loading and reporting

• Write and optimize SQL queries on large datasets in a Data Lake environment

• Consolidate data from multiple enterprise systems and create standardized data structures for energy and media reporting

• Perform data quality checks: validation, source comparisons, detection of missing/duplicate/inconsistent records, and ensuring correct hourly/daily/monthly aggregations

• Validate data during system migrations, including designing validation methodology

Requirements

• Customer-oriented approach

• Advanced Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling)

• Advanced Excel knowledge (data checks, dataset comparison, Power Query)

• Experience working with large data volumes and validating them

• Ability to translate technical or operational issues into analytical tasks and work with incomplete data

• Independence and ability to communicate with non-technical users
