Description

The position supports day-to-day security operations by monitoring the organization’s telecommunication security and performing first-line SOC security processes. You will analyze and categorize security events and incidents, handle alerts from security tools, and manage security tickets from registration through escalation and monitoring. The role serves as an entry level with a development path toward SOC analyst, IT security specialist, or incident response specialist.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process security alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and other security tools

• Perform initial analysis and classification of security events and incidents

• Handle the ticketing system and department mailbox: register, categorize, escalate, and track resolution

• Execute operational tasks related to Data Loss Prevention (DLP), including analyzing and handling policy violations

• Collaborate with IT teams, business owners, and the security team on incident and ticket handling

• Participate in operational on-call duties according to the team schedule

Requirements

• Technical secondary education or higher (IT, telecommunications, cybersecurity)

• 0–2 years of experience in IT Service Desk, IT Administration, SOC, or cybersecurity

• English at least B1 (reading technical documentation and analyzing alerts)

• Availability for scheduled on-call duties and ticket handling beyond standard working hours

• Responsibility, independence, communication skills, and high work culture with confidential information

• Ability to work according to procedures and regulatory requirements
