• Role: L1 SOC Monitoring Specialist (Security Operations Center)
• Schedule: 8:00–16:00, one 8-hour shift, weekdays only
• Workplace: Brno (Žerotínovo náměstí 3)

Description

You will monitor cyber events in real time, collaborate with cybersecurity experts on identifying weaknesses in IT systems, and keep the knowledge base updated. You will support system maintenance and restoration after incidents, communicate with customers using a ticketing system, and coordinate with IT operations teams to resolve incidents quickly. The position also includes regular testing of security measures.

Requirements

• Suitable for ICT graduates and students (including possibility of part-time)
• IT/ICT or cybersecurity education (advantage) and interest in cybersecurity events
• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
• Technical capability to work with L1-level tools and technologies
• Effective communication with team members and customers
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing conditions and technologies
• English: B1 level + passive understanding of technical English
• Preferred: knowledge of networks and network protocols; Cisco Networking Academy certificates
• Preferred: experience with SIEM tools; familiarity with firewalls, antiviruses, and EDR
• Preferred: experience working with ticketing tools; basic overview of types of cyberattacks and their indicators
• Advantage: NÚKIB certifications “Dávej kyber!” and “Šefuj Kyber!”
