Description

You will be responsible for continuous monitoring of cybersecurity events, handling alerts/incidents, and operating detection and response systems. The role includes incident response, close cooperation with network and systems administrators to analyze and mitigate incidents, and regular audits of security configurations. You will also provide recommendations for security hardening and optimize security mechanisms across the IT/telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Continuous analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents; manage security alerts (Incident Response)

• Collaborate with network and IT systems administrators to explain and mitigate incidents

• Operational support and tuning of security detection and response systems: SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, WAF, and firewalls

• Conduct periodic audits of security system configurations for correct functioning

• Prepare recommendations for IT teams regarding system and network hardening

• Evaluate and optimize security mechanisms across the telecommunications/IT infrastructure

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity

• At least 3 years of experience in a SOC operational security position

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with security stack solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR)

• Very good knowledge of network technologies and protocols

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to independently solve technical problems

• Availability for two-shift work (Mon–Fri)

• Criminal record check (per the Crisis Management Act)

• Higher education, preferably in cybersecurity or IT
