Description

You will evaluate and sort reported suspicious activity, assess severity, and select appropriate responses. The role involves analyzing security events to determine what actually happened, working with XDR/EDR and email protection, and tuning security rules, policies, and exceptions. You will also communicate with users and the IT team during security requests and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess reported suspicious activity, determine severity, and choose the right response

• Analyze security events to understand what occurred

• Work with XDR/EDR, email protection, and other security technologies

• Adjust and fine-tune security rules, policies, and exceptions in the used tools

• Coordinate with users and the IT team for security requests and incidents

• Verify that implemented security measures are working and propose technical improvements when needed

• Gradually take on more complex technical tasks as your experience grows

• Handle security requests such as blocking phishing emails and managing permissions/blocks for USB devices, including rule/exception updates in XDR and other security tools

• Support deployment of new security tools across the group

Requirements

• Orientation in IT environment: networks, Windows/Linux operating systems, and basic infrastructure concepts

• Ability to evaluate events in SIEM

• Orientation in potential cyber-attack vectors

• Willingness to understand topics deeply (not only “how”/“why”)

• Analytical thinking and systematic approach

• Ability to read technical documentation in English

• Independence, reliability, and responsibility for assigned tasks

• Interest in learning, testing new things, and growing in the field

• Ability to communicate clearly with users and technical peers
