Description

You will provide first-line operational services within a Security Operations Center by monitoring and handling security alerts, managing tickets, and triaging security events and incidents.

The role includes distinguishing real threats from false positives, supporting scheduled operational on-call (including outside standard hours), and performing operational DLP analysis for security policy violations. Alerts are monitored and processed using SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and other security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ticketing system and department inbox: log, categorize, escalate, and monitor ticket completion

• Perform initial analysis and classification of security events and incidents, including identifying false positives

• Participate in operational on-call according to the schedule, including handling requests outside standard working hours

• Perform operational DLP tasks, including ongoing analysis and handling of security policy breaches

• Monitor and handle security alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and other protection tools

Requirements

• ~2 years of experience in IT Service Desk, IT administration, SOC, or cybersecurity

• Administrative/operational knowledge of Active Directory and Windows/Linux systems

• Ability to analytically assess security events and classify incidents

• Basic knowledge of computer networks (protocols, topologies, network traffic)

• Fluency in Polish and English

• Nice to have: SOC experience

• Nice to have: practical knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, or DLP toolsets

• Nice to have: education in IT, telecommunications, or cybersecurity

• Nice to have: knowledge of financial-sector procedures and regulatory requirements
