Description

You will support a SOC team by monitoring and handling an organization’s IT security events and alerts in real time. Your tasks include first-level analysis, alert handling, ticket registration and escalation, and initial investigation of security incidents and DLP policy violations. This role is designed for candidates with strong technical basics and a desire to grow toward SOC analytics and incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and handle security alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and other security systems
  • Conduct initial event analysis, classification, and triage of security events and incidents
  • Register, categorize, escalate, and monitor cases in a ticketing system
  • Handle a departmental inbox related to security submissions
  • Analyze and handle security policy violations in DLP systems
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business owners, and the security team
  • Transfer and escalate incidents to higher support levels according to procedures
  • Participate in SOC security processes and operational activities
  • Join operational on-call shifts according to the team schedule
  • Document actions taken and ensure the quality and completeness of ticket handling

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and information security
  • Fundamentals of computer networks
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux
  • Understanding of how Active Directory works
  • Awareness of security incident handling fundamentals
  • Ability to analyze events, draw conclusions, and follow defined procedures
  • Ability to use ticketing systems efficiently and document work
  • English proficiency at least B1 (for technical documentation and alert analysis)
  • Availability to participate in operational on-call shifts
  • Effective communication with users and technical teams
  • Accuracy, responsibility, and ability to work under time pressure
  • Confidentiality awareness and compliance with security requirements
