Description

Lead complex data analysis and transformation activities across large-scale datasets in the financial services sector. Translate business requirements into effective data and analytical solutions, and perform hands-on analysis using Python, SQL, and PySpark. Coordinate analytical workstreams, support other analysts, and communicate insights with business, technology, and data stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex data analysis and transformation across large-scale datasets
• Translate business requirements into data and analytical solutions
• Perform hands-on data analysis using Python, SQL, and PySpark
• Support the development and improvement of data transformation pipelines
• Coordinate analytical workstreams and provide subject-matter support and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with business, technology, and data stakeholders
• Identify data issues, trends, and opportunities and communicate findings clearly

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python (upper-intermediate or above)
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL
• Strong hands-on experience with PySpark
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and data transformation pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
• Experience coordinating analytical workstreams and sharing expertise
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Banking or financial services experience (highly desirable)
