Description

Lead and develop an IT infrastructure platform team delivering strategic initiatives for digital transformation while keeping a complex, regulated infrastructure running reliably. Own server, virtualization, networking, and connectivity operations and drive change toward a target-state architecture, including Zero Trust, OT network segmentation, and an Azure (IaaS) cloud roadmap. Strengthen monitoring/observability, automate infrastructure, and improve IT asset management/CMDB maturity to support compliance and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and grow a team of ~8 infrastructure engineers across on-premise, cloud, and networking domains

• Run team rhythm (standups, sprint planning, incident reviews, 1:1s, performance conversations)

• Own and operate the infrastructure platform: server infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and connectivity across locations

• Build and maintain secure, reliable, compliant systems

• Drive the cloud roadmap (Azure primary) and lead workload migrations

• Establish monitoring, observability, and alerting as a managed capability

• Lead infrastructure automation and scripting to reduce manual effort and increase reliability

• Own IT asset management and progress CMDB maturity (NIS2-required)

• Deliver the Zero Trust roadmap across identity, network, and endpoint; implement OT network segmentation

• Operate within GxP framework (validated systems, change control, audit trails, documented procedures)

• Support NIS2 compliance in the infrastructure domain and contribute to audit readiness

• Be first escalation point for infrastructure incidents; define and deliver infrastructure SLAs

• Identify and close technical debt aligned to business risk and target architecture maturity

• Contribute to architecture decisions and maintain infrastructure standards documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years people management experience leading an IT infrastructure team

• Hands-on background in server/virtualization, networking, and Azure cloud

• Experience operating in regulated environments (GxP/pharma or equivalent)

• Demonstrated ability to close technical skill gaps and build team capability

• Fluent English

• Comfortable operating in a matrix organization with distributed stakeholders

• Advantages: NIS2 or ISO 27001 experience

• Azure certification (AZ-104 or higher)

• ServiceNow knowledge

• ITIL Foundation or higher

• Polish language valued
