Description

You will support and operate enterprise data center infrastructure, ensuring availability and performance of virtualization, compute, storage, backup, and Windows Server platforms. The role includes VMware vSphere administration and troubleshooting, Dell infrastructure operations, monitoring and incident response, backup/recovery and disaster recovery, and security/patch management. You will also contribute to modernization, migrations, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise data center infrastructure

• Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, clustering, lifecycle, patching, upgrades, migrations)

• Operate Dell infrastructure platforms (servers, storage, data protection)

• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and health (e.g., Zabbix)

• Perform incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (including recovery validation/testing)

• Implement software, firmware, operating system, and security updates across infrastructure components

• Support Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services

• Automate operational tasks and reporting using PowerShell

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards

• Participate in infrastructure modernization, migration, and capacity planning initiatives

• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and technology partners

• Support security, compliance, and audit activities

• Ensure adherence to security policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or Data Center Operations

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise data center environments

• Strong VMware vSphere administration experience (ESXi, vCenter, clustering, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, migrations)

• Practical experience managing Dell enterprise infrastructure (PowerEdge servers; Dell storage such as PowerScale, Data Domain, Avamar)

• Experience with server, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies

• Windows Server administration experience

• Good understanding of SAN and NAS storage architectures

• Hands-on experience with enterprise backup and recovery operations (including disaster recovery testing)

• Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms such as Zabbix

• Experience with security patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening

• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms

• Very good communication skills in English and Polish

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
