Description

You will lead and coordinate project planning, execution, and delivery in a technically complex cloud infrastructure environment. You will align engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders on scope, priorities, milestones, and acceptance criteria, while managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and open items. You will facilitate technical workshops and decision sessions and translate technical progress into business-relevant updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project planning, execution, and delivery in a technically complex cloud infrastructure environment

• Align engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders on scope, priorities, milestones, and acceptance criteria

• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and open items

• Facilitate technical workshops, reviews, and decision-making sessions

• Work with cloud architects and infrastructure engineers on IaaS topics (compute, storage, networking)

• Coordinate automation and DevOps workstreams, including Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD

• Coordinate with external cloud providers and relevant SAP teams

• Maintain project documentation (project plans, status reports, risk registers, decision records)

• Provide clear status updates to senior stakeholders and communicate progress in business terms

Requirements

• 5+ years of project or program management experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering

• Familiarity with at least one major hyperscaler: AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Solid understanding of IaaS fundamentals (compute, storage, networking)

• Working knowledge of infrastructure automation: IaC, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management practices

• Experience leading technically complex, cross-functional projects

• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience managing external vendors or providers

• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
