Description

Lead a high-scale platform engineering team responsible for JVM and .NET platform health across FinTech products. You will be accountable for platform reliability, cost efficiency, developer velocity, and AI readiness, while coordinating platform migrations, CI/CD optimization, and observability improvements on Azure. You’ll also drive platform adoption by removing technical and operational blockers for product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross-functional platform engineering team
• Drive platform adoption and remove technical and operational blockers across product teams
• Oversee infrastructure provisioning, Azure resource management, and container orchestration on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Coordinate fleet-scale migrations, including JVM and .NET platform development and upgrades (Java, .NET, Spring Boot)
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployment safety (canary releases, configuration versioning)
• Improve infrastructure cost efficiency
• Integrate AI tools into platform engineering workflows to accelerate company-wide developer velocity
• Manage capacity, sequencing, and Azure cloud budgeting
• Run team ceremonies, conduct 1:1 sessions, provide performance feedback, and lead talent acquisition

Requirements

• Engineer specializing in either .NET or Java
• People management experience (talent development, stakeholder management)
• Back-end programming and software architecture experience
• DevOps and CI/CD expertise, including Agile methodologies
• Cloud infrastructure management experience on Microsoft Azure
• Container orchestration experience (AKS)
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Pulumi
• Knowledge of JVM and .NET platform management
• Fluent in Polish (C1) and strong command of English (B2)
