Description

Define and maintain enterprise Azure platform architecture, including landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, governance, and workload hosting standards. Design reusable cloud patterns for APIs, microservices, containerized workloads, and serverless solutions. Ensure secure and scalable networking architectures (hub-and-spoke, private connectivity, API gateways) while driving Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, CI/CD, observability, compliance, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain enterprise Azure platform architecture (landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, governance, workload hosting standards)
  • Design reusable cloud patterns for APIs, microservices, containerized workloads, and serverless solutions
  • Build secure, scalable networking architectures (hub-and-spoke topologies, private connectivity, API gateways)
  • Define Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and lead environment automation initiatives
  • Drive CI/CD and DevOps standards, including security scanning and automated deployments
  • Ensure observability, compliance, and cost optimization using Azure-native tools
  • Advise on integrating AI services such as Azure AI and Azure OpenAI into application architectures
  • Perform architectural reviews, enforce governance controls, and guide projects toward target-state architecture
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise principles

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure architectures
  • Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, security, and landing zones
  • Hands-on experience with AKS, container orchestration, and microservices
  • Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure, connectivity, and integration patterns
  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD automation
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, GitHub/Azure DevOps, and automated pipelines
  • Experience implementing observability solutions with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
  • Understanding of cloud security, RBAC, managed identities, and compliance frameworks
  • Exposure to AI/Generative AI services on Azure and ability to design AI-enabled solutions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments
