Service appointment (indefinite) with a 6-month probation period; full-time; flexible service hours with possible partial work from home. Starting date is by agreement (expected 2 November 2026). Salary in 12th pay grade based on experience; after 3 months, an optional personal allowance up to 5,500 CZK (non-entitlement).

Description

This role ensures and improves the operations of database systems, data storage, servers, and virtualization infrastructure. You will monitor performance, resolve operational incidents, and support the administration of application servers and environments, including planning outages and coordinating related requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and administer database systems and data storage
  • Oversee operations of servers, databases, and virtualization infrastructure (VMware)
  • Monitor IT system performance and resolve operational incidents
  • Cooperate on administration of application servers and application environments
  • Coordinate and maintain records of requests for managing IT infrastructure
  • Support implementation, migration, and development of IT technologies
  • Plan technology downtime and coordinate with application guarantors
  • Administer application domains, antivirus systems, and server updates
  • Create and manage virtual servers
  • Participate in ensuring operations of data centers and IT infrastructure
  • Prepare materials and statements on technical and strategic ICT topics
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure IT service operations

Requirements

  • Czech citizenship or citizenship of an EU Member State or a state party to the EEA Agreement
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Full legal capacity
  • No criminal record
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s university education
  • Required health fitness
  • Proficiency in Czech (if not a Czech citizen)
