Description

The IT Systems Administrator provides daily onsite support to users and maintains a local IT infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft environments. You will troubleshoot Windows and hardware issues, manage user accounts and access, and support Microsoft 365 services and security processes. The role also includes device and hardware maintenance plus participating in local IT projects and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • End-user support and access management
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, Windows, and office application issues
  • Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 services
  • Create/configure accounts, reset passwords, update recovery methods, and manage groups and mailing lists
  • Grant, change, and revoke access per approved permissions and procedures
  • Onboard new employees with short trainings and instructions
  • Assist with suspicious messages/phishing and report threats per procedures
  • Coordinate with central IT teams and users in English
  • Microsoft environment administration
  • Basic administration of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Manage users, groups, and devices and create reports in Microsoft Entra ID
  • Register/unregister devices in Microsoft Intune, manage group assignments, and check device configuration/compliance
  • Ongoing administration of local Active Directory and Windows Server virtual machines (with other IT teams)
  • Hardware and local infrastructure support
  • Prepare and configure laptops, tablets, printers, and meeting-room IT equipment
  • Issue/return devices per protocols and prepare equipment for reuse
  • Maintain an up-to-date hardware inventory and user assignments
  • Diagnose faults, coordinate repairs/replacements, and handle warranty submissions
  • Monitor local infrastructure and server-room equipment and respond to outages
  • Local IT projects, tickets, and documentation
  • Deliver local IT projects from needs gathering and solution comparison to purchase, approval, rollout, and user training
  • Work with equipment/service vendors and support partners
  • Record, categorize, and process tickets; keep users informed about progress
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, instructions, and IT procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT role (IT Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or helpdesk handling administrative tasks at least L2)
  • Practical troubleshooting skills for Windows computers and office applications
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and account/access administration basics
  • Basic understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN)
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization
  • Understanding of IT security principles, including MFA and safe access/permission granting
  • English proficiency minimum B2 for communication and correspondence
  • Independence, responsibility, and ability to prioritize
  • Communication skills, patience, and ability to explain technical topics in simple terms
  • Availability for daily onsite work in Warsaw
