Description

You will develop the KAIN AI gateway platform and build end-to-end AI solutions that integrate with KRUK Group systems and workflows. The work includes backend services/APIs, document classification and extraction, model integration via Azure AI services and other supported providers, plus ensuring quality, security, observability, and reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Develop the KAIN platform and supporting components for sharing models, AI agents, and AI services
• Design and implement solutions using generative AI, LLMs, and agent architectures
• Create services and APIs to integrate AI solutions with business systems, applications, and workflows
• Implement document analysis, classification, and data extraction
• Integrate models provided through Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, and other KAIN-supported providers
• Prepare technical, functional, and integration tests, including response quality and behavior after model changes
• Document architecture, APIs, configuration, deployment approach, and usage guidelines
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams, including Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data, and AI Governance
• Support product and process teams when connecting their solutions to KAIN
• Monitor production environments, diagnose issues, and resolve problems
• Experiment with new models and agent frameworks; evaluate their business usefulness

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying backend applications or services
• Very good knowledge of at least one backend/integration programming language (preferred Python; also C#/.NET or TypeScript)
• Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and basic cloud-native architecture
• Experience with generative AI/LLMs, including model integration and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of RAG patterns, semantic search, and knowledge base usage
• Ability to design secure solutions with access control, logging, and monitoring
• Knowledge of Git and best practices for code review, testing, and CI/CD
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and integrations between systems
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks, architecture, and working solutions
• Independence and ownership of delivered components in an international, cross-functional environment
• Communicative English for collaboration with teams across markets
