Description

You will develop and productionize AI capabilities using the KAIN AI gateway, covering generative AI/LLM and agent-based solutions, document understanding, and integrations with business systems and workflows.

You’ll build backend services and APIs, integrate models via Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, and other model providers, while ensuring quality, security, observability, and reusability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, engineering, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and AI governance) to prototype, test, deploy, and continuously improve AI solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop the KAIN platform and supporting components for sharing models, agents, and AI services

• Design and develop solutions using generative AI, Large Language Models, and agent architectures

• Create services and APIs that enable integration of AI solutions with systems, applications, and workflows

• Implement document analysis, classification, and data extraction

• Integrate models provided through Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, and other providers supported by KAIN

• Prepare technical, functional, and integration tests, including answer-quality checks and behavior verification after model changes

• Document architecture, APIs, configuration, deployment approach, and component usage rules

• Work with business teams, developers, architects, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data, AI Governance, and local market teams

• Support product and process teams when connecting their solutions to KAIN

• Monitor production environments, diagnose issues, and resolve problems

• Experiment with new models, agent frameworks, and AI approaches; evaluate business usefulness

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying backend applications or services

• Strong knowledge of at least one backend/integration programming language (preferred Python; also C#/.NET or TypeScript)

• Practical experience with APIs, REST services, JSON, and system integration

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and basic cloud-native architecture

• Experience with generative AI/LLMs, including model integration and prompt engineering

• Basic knowledge of RAG patterns, semantic search, and knowledge base usage

• Ability to design solutions with security, access control, logging, and monitoring

• Git knowledge and best practices for code review, testing, and CI/CD

• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cross-system integrations

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks, architecture, and working solutions

• Independence and responsibility for delivered components; readiness for interdisciplinary international work

• Communicative English for collaboration with teams across different markets
