Description

You will build multiple SAP Business Network services from the ground up and contribute across the full product lifecycle—from idea generation and planning to design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration. You’ll break down complex roadmap features into technical components and implement scalable microservices with a focus on clean, effective, high-quality code. You’ll also support production by analyzing and resolving issues and customer requests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team leaders to create commercial software

• Work independently to analyze, research, and solve production issues and customer inquiries (escalating when needed)

• Assess severity and scope of problems and drive them to resolution

• Organize and handle multiple production issues and customer requests efficiently (delegating when appropriate)

• Decompose roadmap features into technical components and develop them independently

• Advocate for best practices and quality in microservices development

• Partner with the team architect and product manager throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience coding web-based applications

• Knowledge of design patterns and data structures

• Background building web APIs with API-first design principles (Swagger/OpenAPI, GraphQL, REST)

• Skills in Fiori-based development (SAPUI5, oData, CAP CDS)

• Expertise in Java Spring Boot and web service development

• Familiarity with SAP HANA DB and at least one relational database

• Proficiency with development tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium)

• Competency with containerization and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)

• Ability to use configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef)

• Understanding deployment environments, application configuration, and change management

• Agile development experience using Git/GitHub/GitLab

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Jira

• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher)
