Description

You will lead the development of multiple SAP Business Network services from idea and planning through design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration. You’ll collaborate with development, QA, and UX, and take accountability for investigating and resolving production issues and customer requests. The role emphasizes clean, effective code and strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead a development team building commercial software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, UX)
• Analyze, research, and resolve production issues, customer requests, and inquiries; escalate when appropriate
• Assess severity and scope of production problems and stay accountable until fully resolved
• Organize and address multiple production issues and customer requests by prioritizing and delegating

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional software development experience
• At least 1 year of people management/team leadership (5+ FTEs)
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and data structures
• Experience coding web-based applications and coordinating team development work
• Experience building web APIs with API-first design principles (Swagger, GraphQL, REST)
• Fiori-based development skills (SAPUI5, oData, CAP CDS)
• Mastery of Java Spring Boot and web service development
• Familiarity with HANA DB
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, Chef
• Good understanding of deployment environments, application configuration, and change management
• Familiarity with at least one relational database management system
• Agile experience using version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with Jira for defect/issue tracking
• English B2+ with strong written and verbal communication
