Description

You will support a strategic transformation of a bank’s card area by moving business logic for fees, commissions, and subscriptions into a new application.

The role focuses on analyzing existing business/system logic, modeling business processes and data flows, and defining REST API and integration contracts in a microservices architecture. You will also coordinate requirements across multiple backend teams (Java) and support migration to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business logic and system logic for fees, commissions, subscriptions, and payment cards
• Identify, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Model business processes and data flows
• Analyze integrations between bank systems based on REST API
• Define and refine API and integration contracts for microservices architecture
• Collaborate with business teams, architects, developers, and QA
• Coordinate the delivery of requirements across multiple project teams in a Java backend environment
• Support migration of solutions to cloud environments
• Prepare recommendations, support decision-making, report work status, and identify risks

Requirements

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience as a System Business Analyst or System-Business Analyst
• Experience delivering projects in the banking/financial sector
• Very good knowledge of REST API-based integrations
• Strong ability to analyze complex backend systems and understand microservices architecture and inter-system communication
• Practical skill translating business requirements into system requirements
• Experience analyzing processes related to payments, settlements, fees, commissions, or payment card products
• Ability to use lightweight UML guidelines for modeling
• High communication, presentation, and organizational skills; ability to lead end-to-end topics and make decisions
• Ready for hybrid work in Katowice (minimum 1 day/week in the office)
• English proficiency at B2–C1
