Description

Lead end-to-end accounting for a manufacturing organization, including month/quarter/year close, financial statements, and management reporting. Manage and develop a multi-person accounting team, ensure correct tax settlements (e.g., VAT and CIT), and collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors and banks. Drive process improvements and contribute to digitalization and finance system development.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive accounting in line with applicable regulations
• Lead and develop a several-person accounting team
• Prepare financial statements and handle month/quarter/year close
• Produce management reports for leadership and international structures
• Supervise tax settlements (VAT, CIT)
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external institutions
• Work closely with operations, production, logistics, and controlling
• Initiate and implement process improvements for the accounting department
• Participate in digitalization projects and development of finance/accounting systems

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as Chief Accountant / Head of Accounting
• Experience gained in a production/manufacturing environment
• Experience managing an accounting team and developing staff skills
• Very good knowledge of the Accounting Act and tax regulations
• Experience preparing financial statements and working with auditors
• Ability to manage organizational change and streamline finance/accounting processes
• Very good knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Excel
• English proficiency enabling smooth collaboration with international stakeholders (C1)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
