Description

Join a team that develops and deploys machine-learning models to support trading and flexibility management in European energy markets. You’ll help build and scale an in-house trading platform and the data pipelines that feed it, with emphasis on correctness and solid engineering practices. New colleagues start with easier tasks and gradually move to more complex work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale components of an in-house trading platform
• Build and maintain data pipelines that support trading and analytics
• Implement and share non-trivial logic across frontend and backend in Scala
• Work with review-driven development where code correctness is critical
• Debug and fix data-processing or trading-system issues promptly

Requirements

• Good understanding of functional programming principles
• Knowledge of algebraic data types and common functional operations (e.g., map, fold)
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and time/space complexity
• Familiarity with concurrency and parallelism (threads, locks, actors, task-level parallelism)
• Good proficiency with Linux development and command-line tools
