Description

Build end-to-end backend functionality in .NET for a real-time IoT and telematics platform. You’ll develop and evolve APIs and domain/worker services that process GPS and telemetry data at scale, while improving reliability, observability, and performance. You’ll also diagnose production issues and support safe deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features end-to-end across APIs, domain services, and worker services
• Model transactions, idempotency, retries, and safe event processing
• Create efficient SQL Server queries using Dapper and EF Core
• Develop integrations using REST, gRPC, SignalR, and Redis Streams
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and distributed-system behavior
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in safe deployments
• Perform code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to architectural decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core
• Ability to design readable REST APIs and understand the consequences of contract changes
• Strong SQL Server knowledge, including transactions, and experience with at least one: Dapper or EF Core
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and typical failure scenarios
• Testable coding habits, use of code review, and ability to find root causes
• Can discuss trade-offs between simplicity, performance, and reliability
• English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation
