Description

You will be the first dedicated analyst for trading, building the foundations that connect data, analysis, and trading into something that can scale. The role is hands-on: analyze and test algorithmic strategies, run A/B testing on live data, and connect speculative trading with flexibility management for renewables and large batteries.

Responsibilities

• Build the foundation for a trading analytics function and define how it scales

• Identify business and data opportunities across the company (from developers to management)

• Prepare and test algorithmic strategies, including A/B testing

• Analyze the intraday market and support live strategy evaluation

• Bridge analytics with production systems and data pipelines/orchestration

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data or business analytics

• Ability to clean raw data and turn it into clear business decisions

• Direct experience in the energy sector (e.g., virtual power plants, bidding strategy modeling, grid support services)

• Basic trading knowledge (e.g., intraday trading, flexibility)

• Production-level coding ability (clean, maintainable code)

• Experience deploying analysis from notebooks to production; knowledge of pipelines/orchestration (Dagster)

• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
