Description

You will work on a Summit consolidation project and support the subsequent Transition-to-Target phase. You will analyze and specify business requirements with key stakeholders (especially Trading, Backoffice, and Treasury), implement them primarily in C/C++/C#, and ensure high software quality with automated tests delivered as part of releases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and specify business requirements in close collaboration with the business units (Trading, Backoffice, Treasury)
• Implement the gathered requirements primarily in C, C++ and C#
• Design, develop, and implement automated tests to ensure high software quality
• Bring the solutions live as part of releases
• Support end-to-end functionality for trade entry, valuation, settlement, and reporting
• Advise business teams on using Summit standard functionalities and creating functional concepts

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable
• Long-term experience in Summit application development (ideally from version 6)
• Deep expertise in Summit API, Summit metamodel, and the use of various Summit servers and modules
• Strong command of C, C++, C# and SQL on Sybase or Microsoft SQL Server (benefit: Python and/or Java)
• Solid understanding of Treasury products (Bond, Swap, Repo, Money Market) including relevant master data
• Practical knowledge of Unix, Linux, or Windows and experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Plus: familiarity with ITIL in the financial services context and with JIRA and Confluence
• Fluent German and ideally very good English (written and spoken)
