Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services in a distributed, data-driven environment
• Work with Kafka and Spring ecosystem components to implement reliable integrations
• Apply software quality practices, including unit and integration testing
• Use BPMN/process engine concepts to support workflow-driven operations
• Contribute to frontend development using React
• Adopt AI tooling in the software development lifecycle
• Diagnose and improve the performance of implemented solutions

Requirements

• Strong Java knowledge (5+ years)
• Strong Kafka knowledge (3+ years)
• Strong Spring/Hibernate knowledge plus Spring Boot and Spring Cloud (5+ years)
• Strong SQL knowledge (5+ years)
• Knowledge of quality assurance and testing frameworks: unit tests (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) and integration tests (Testcontainers, WireMock)
• Understanding of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience with application containerization
• Knowledge of process/workflow engines and BPMN notation
• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms for services in distributed systems
• React framework knowledge and experience building frontend applications
• Ability to adopt AI tools during software development
• Knowledge of tools for diagnosing performance of implemented solutions
