Description

Own and execute the digital roadmap for E*TRADE trading and investing, with a focus on markets and research—including cryptocurrency—across E*TRADE and MS Online websites. You will write user stories, maintain an Agile backlog, assist with sprint planning, testing, and releases, and help ensure a frictionless user experience. You will also partner with technology and third-party vendors for crypto market data integration and asset custodianship, and help manage AI features within product governance.

Responsibilities

• Champion and continuously improve the online markets and research experience for E*TRADE clients across platforms

• Define client experience and drive growth and adoption of digital assets for research and trading, including cryptocurrencies

• Write and maintain the product backlog (user stories and epics) with detailed acceptance criteria

• Support production issue resolution and prioritize backlog items

• Participate in product validation/testing with QA and contribute to release management

• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives)

• Collaborate across UX & Design, Technology, QA, Service, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors

• Resolve client-facing issues quickly and communicate ideas, approvals, and project status; track KPIs

• Maintain product awareness across lifecycle stages (launch, growth, maturity, decline)

• Monitor industry trends, compliance concerns, risk control processes, and the regulatory landscape

Requirements

• 5+ years of Agile product management experience (preferably financial services)

• Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst delivering enterprise-scale digital products in a regulated financial environment

• Experience partnering with multiple cross-functional stakeholders

• Experience analyzing user feedback, backlog grooming/prioritization, pilot testing, and rollout strategy

• Preferred: experience related to markets, equities research, and cryptocurrency trading

• Proficiency leveraging AI tools for efficiency

• Understanding of competitive and regulatory environments for online brokerages (web/mobile/desktop)

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) plus analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Self-starter with curiosity and attention to detail

• Comfort gathering and using data analytics, usage metrics, and feedback to guide decisions

• Ability to manage competing priorities and parallel workstreams

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications

• Basic familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Asana

• Additional product or project management certifications are a plus
