Description

You will operate as both builder of the data foundation and analyst who translates insights into product decisions as Flex moves from pilot to broader go-to-market. The role partners with business leadership and the core data team to model data and analyze consumer bill-payment behavior, pricing, and credit dynamics—helping establish standards for the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain core data models (dbt/Snowflake) powering reporting, experimentation, and ML/credit risk use cases
  • Analyze payment behavior timing, splitting, delinquency, and credit-building outcomes to improve what’s working in the pilot
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to instrument new features (bill splitting, smart scheduling, credit-building) and measure adoption and impact
  • Design and analyze experiments to establish causal links between pricing, credit terms, product flows, and outcomes
  • Create dashboards and self-serve tools for Product, Risk, and GTM to track pilot-to-scale metrics
  • Champion data quality, consistent terminology, and documentation as the footprint grows
  • Set technical direction for scaling data models and pipelines; mentor analysts/engineers and raise the technical bar

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience spanning analytics engineering and data science/analyst work
  • Strong SQL and hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake (or equivalent modern data stack)
  • Experience with BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Mode, Looker, etc.) and building dashboards for non-technical stakeholders
  • Track record designing and analyzing A/B tests or quasi-experimental methods
  • Ability to partner comfortably with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort with credit, risk, or fintech data (plus) and curiosity about how consumers manage finances

Benefits

  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision
  • Company equity
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Unlimited paid time off plus 13 company paid holidays
  • Parental leave
  • Free Flex subscription
  • For full-time non-U.S. employees: competitive compensation + company equity and unlimited PTO
