Description

Support the manufacturing floor by partnering with cross-functional teams to understand frontline problems and implement cost-saving solutions. Use data extracted from MES and SAP to develop production metrics, dashboards, and optimization models that improve product flow, cycle time, and capacity. Lead digital transformation efforts, including AI adoption, and help operationalize data through scalable pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze shop floor practices and processes using Continuous Improvement methods to minimize waste, reduce cost, increase capacity, and optimize schedules
• Define current-state and future-state possibilities with frontline leadership
• Build metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance (lead times, queue times, WIP, cycle time, throughput)
• Develop scalable models to optimize product flow with cost, schedule, and resource constraints
• Create scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with executable plans under capacity constraints
• Turn data into insight via responsive dashboards for stakeholders
• Assess data source effectiveness and create/maintain data pipelines
• Translate business questions into modeling/analysis approaches and deliver projects from concept through deployment
• Generate metrics and capacity reports
• Present complex models and analyses to business partners
• Collaborate with stakeholders, teammates, and business leaders
• Use visualization tools such as Python/R libraries, Power BI, and Tableau; use the Microsoft Office suite

Compensation

Primary salary range: $87,200.00 - $130,800.00
