Description

Provide technically complex and robust SCADA systems to support mission-critical transportation and aviation infrastructure, water/wastewater, and other critical environments. Work includes designing and integrating SCADA, supporting Power Systems and Life Safety (Ventilation and Fire), Traffic and mechanical systems, and developing proficiency in SCADA system design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design SCADA networks, panel layouts, I/O wiring diagrams, and fiber optic networks

• Develop bills of materials and estimates for design projects

• Prepare system drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

• Produce conceptual design reports and Concept of Operation documents

• Prepare engineering specifications

• Coordinate work with engineers from other disciplines and architects

• Lead SCADA engineering designs

• Engage with SCADA vendors/manufacturers to understand product capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (controls focus), Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Control Systems

• 10+ years of consulting experience

• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider, and Wonderware SCADA manufacturers

• Minimum requirements to work on Government Projects

• 10–15% travel time expected (trip durations of 1–2 weeks, local or international)
