Description

You will develop and commission machine software for control and drive technology, including software-based commissioning, testing, and optimization. The role also involves troubleshooting in control and drive systems, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and supporting customers onsite with commissioning, validations/qualifications, and training.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and derive technical specifications
• Develop machine software for control and drive technology
• Perform software-based commissioning of machines and systems
• Run tests, optimizations, and controller adjustments
• Review machining programs and support test runs
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Conduct acceptance tests and functional checks on machines
• Provide onsite service during customer deployments
• Support customers
• Perform validation and qualification activities at customer sites
• Analyze and resolve faults in control and drive technology
• Deliver customer trainings on product technology, functions, and applications

Requirements

• Completed training/qualification as an electrician/mechatronics technician or automation/mechatronics technician (or comparable)
• Programming skills in common control systems, ideally KUKA, B&R, and CODESYS
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Independent, structured, analytical, and goal-oriented working style
• Strong willingness to travel
