Description

Maintain and optimize client WordPress websites through regular updates under an SLA, including system/plugin updates and post-update verification on a test environment with monitoring. Oversee live site operations by checking functionality, logging issues, and working with developers to resolve them. Manage and adjust website content, test new changes on mobile and desktop before release, and research plugins/tools while communicating with English-speaking support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled WordPress updates (core/system and plugins) and verify changes after updates

• Operate and monitor running websites; identify, document, and help resolve issues with developers

• Edit and add content in WordPress (texts, images, new pages, products)

• Test new features and changes on mobile and desktop; report bugs clearly

• Research plugins/tools/solutions and prepare decision-ready inputs for the team

• Communicate in English with support for plugins, hosting, and other services

Requirements

• User-level knowledge of WordPress or another CMS; programming not required

• High attention to detail and reliability (updates and testing must be done carefully)

• Product-oriented thinking about website goals and real users

• Basic technical awareness: domain, hosting, cache, responsiveness

• Independent research ability and clear summarization of findings

• English at a communicative level (minimum B2)
