Description

The Controlling Specialist will support company budgeting and forecasting, analyze deviations versus plan, and prepare business and financial analyses for company leadership. The role partners with teams across the organization—especially Sales and Operations—evaluating business and investment cases and contributing to the annual financial closing under Czech accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to creation of the company financial plan
• Coordinate, process, and analyze parts of the plan (P&L, Capex, Cash Flow, B/S)
• Analyze variances vs. plan, evaluate them with other departments, and continuously update the outlook
• Economically assess business and investment cases with organizational units
• Provide business partnership support; communicate effectively with other departments, including ad hoc requests (e.g., business cases, reports, commissions)
• Prepare ad hoc commercial and financial analyses as needed by management
• Propose measures to improve systems, ways of working, and analytical methods
• Participate in the annual financial statement close per Czech accounting standards

Requirements

• University education
• Minimum 3 years of controlling experience
• Basic knowledge of IFRS
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Basic knowledge of SAP (FI, CO, PS, and SAC are an advantage)
• Strong communication skills with finance and non-finance teams, especially Sales and Operations
• Analytical mindset and willingness to improve assigned processes
• Telco business knowledge is an advantage
