Description

Lead an end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation from Microsoft Dynamics AX to SAP S/4HANA in a complex manufacturing environment. Own solution validation through go-live and stabilization, ensuring manufacturing processes are executable, robust, and scalable. Provide fact-based progress reporting directly to the CEO and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the SAP S/4HANA implementation, from solution validation through go-live and stabilization

• Lead the internal implementation team and manage the external implementation partner

• Validate the manufacturing solution design against actual production processes and operational requirements

• Translate manufacturing needs into a scalable solution aligned with SAP standards

• Establish and maintain a rigorous integrated project plan covering milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and key decisions

• Drive execution across Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, IT, and other business functions

• Lead testing, data migration, business readiness, cutover, and go-live activities

• Provide clear, fact-based progress reporting directly to the CEO and the Board

• Maintain momentum when stakeholders face competing operational priorities, limited capacity, or differing views on process standardization

• Build credibility with manufacturing leaders while constructively challenging legacy processes and assumptions

Requirements

• Proven leadership of multiple large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations in complex manufacturing environments

• Personal accountability for end-to-end delivery—from solution design through go-live and hypercare

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning and execution, routings, production operations, master data, and shop-floor integration

• Experience reviewing, strengthening, or redesigning SAP manufacturing solutions

• Ability to identify and resolve gaps between solution design and operational reality

• Excellent program/project management discipline, including detailed planning, dependency management, and risk control

• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and external system integrators

• Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills

• Authority and resilience to challenge decisions and maintain delivery discipline

• Professional fluency in English

• Direct delivery ownership is required (not suitable for candidates limited to SAP support, functional consulting, individual workstream leadership, or non-accountable transformation strategy)
