Description

Own the technical architecture and continuous improvement of RPA, AI, and automation solutions for purchasing, translating business needs into scalable designs. Ensure reliable operations via incident resolution, root-cause analysis, user support, and ongoing optimization, coordinating implementation with internal IT and external development partners. Evaluate and govern new technologies across SAP, RPA, AI agents, APIs, document intelligence, and process mining to move from rule-based automation to intelligent, agent-based AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of operation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of RPA, AI, and automation solutions in Purchasing

• Ensure stable and reliable operations: manage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, provide user support, and continuously optimize existing digital solutions

• Translate business requirements into technical solution concepts and coordinate implementation with internal IT and external development partners

• Evaluate, introduce, and govern new technologies in SAP, RPA, AI Agents, APIs, Document Intelligence, and Process Mining

• Support transformation from rule-based automation toward scalable, agent-based AI solutions that deliver long-term business value

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field

• Experience in automation, system integration, digital transformation, or solution architecture

• Exposure to purchasing or supply chain management business processes

• Hands-on knowledge of UiPath (or comparable RPA), SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA, APIs, and integration technologies

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Fluent English
