Description

You will map, manage, parametrize, and develop manufacturing data structures in ERP (Navision), MES, and SCADA. You will analyze production processes to find where digitalization brings concrete improvements, and translate shop-floor needs into structured IT requirements for internal and external teams. You will also help implement MES and SCADA in production areas, create production reports and dashboards, and maintain sustainable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Map, manage, parametrize, and develop manufacturing data structures in ERP (Navision), MES, and SCADA
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify digitalization opportunities
• Convert production requirements into clear IT specifications for internal and external IT
• Participate in design and implementation of new digital solutions
• Support MES and SCADA introduction across operations (initially with specialists/partners)
• Build reports, dashboards, and production data visualizations
• Create and manage documentation for long-term maintainability
• Gradually take independent responsibility for assigned digitalization areas
• Collaborate with production, technical, IT, and other teams; occasional site travel related to rollouts and growth

Requirements

• Secondary or university education in a technical, IT, automation, or related field
• Suitable also for graduates or candidates with short experience; strong thinking and growth potential matter
• Analytical and technical thinking; ability to break down problems, describe them structurally, and find suitable solutions
• Ability to translate production needs into understandable IT requirements
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Interest in manufacturing technologies, automation, working with data, and digitalization
• Knowledge of ERP/MES/SCADA or PLC is a plus, not a requirement
• Strong communication skills and willingness to be present in production and coordinate with both shop-floor colleagues and IT specialists
• Independence, initiative, and willingness to propose your own ideas
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility gradually, and grow professionally
• Willingness to travel between company sites; during onboarding, time in Velvary for system/process and production familiarization
