Description

You will design test cases, execute multiple types of application testing (functional, regression, integration, and exploratory), and manage defects through verification and retesting. You will also help drive QA standards and continuous improvement, and collaborate across the delivery lifecycle for design/requirements reviews and release readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and specifications for testability, completeness, and clarity
  • Create test cases to ensure coverage of application functionality and business requirements
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers
  • Identify and analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and assess system-wide impact
  • Manage defects through the lifecycle, including verification and retesting fixes
  • Drive QA standards, best practices, and testing methodologies across projects
  • Improve testing processes, tools, and documentation
  • Support adoption of efficient and automated testing approaches
  • Provide QA knowledge sharing and support development of junior QA team members
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews with quality-focused feedback
  • Communicate test progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders across SDLC
  • Contribute to test planning, release readiness, and QA activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality and reduce testing risks

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance (mid-level)
  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques and testing methodologies
  • Good understanding of SDLC and delivery methodologies, with experience contributing from design to release
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira)
  • Experience contributing to QA standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of quality outcomes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex systems and integrations
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
  • Excellent communication skills for remote/distributed teams
  • English fluency (minimum B2)
