Description

You will design, execute, and optimize automated tests across functional, integration, contract, performance, and load testing, ensuring a quality-first approach throughout the application lifecycle. You will integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, collaborate with Product Owners on high-quality feature specifications, and act as the sole QA engineer in the team by creating meaningful test cases and implementing automation. The role includes supporting test strategy development, test harness creation, and ongoing quality metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of testing experience and strong understanding of testing concepts

• Automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Hands-on API testing experience (REST APIs)

• Experience with Playwright (test runner, API testing, request interception, PageObject pattern)

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and related integrations

• Practical experience with end-to-end application testing

• Familiarity with GitLab CI and related automation tools

• Cloud experience, preferably AWS

• Upper-intermediate English (spoken and written)
