Description

You will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise network solutions for LAN/WAN environments. The role includes managing Palo Alto firewall initiatives (policy, threat prevention, and VPN configuration) and optimizing Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure (ClearPass, AirWave). You will monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, enforce security and compliance standards, and provide technical leadership and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions for LAN/WAN
• Manage Palo Alto firewall projects (policy development, threat prevention, VPN configuration)
• Manage and optimize Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure (ClearPass, AirWave)
• Monitor network performance and resolve complex network issues using advanced diagnostic tools
• Implement and enforce network security guidelines and compliance standards
• Partner with functional teams to support infrastructure and business application projects
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Maintain detailed documentation (configurations, diagrams, operational procedures)
• Participate in on-call rotations and support incident response activities
• Build and support high-throughput “dark fiber”-based network infrastructure solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
• Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba network solutions
• Strong TCP/IP fundamentals, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and subnetting
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG)
• Ability to build and deploy secure network architectures
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Preferred: PCNSE, CCNP (or equivalent certifications)
• Advantage: Network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Desired: Cloud networking knowledge (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
• Must have authorization for full-time work at the location of the posting, without needing visa sponsorship now or in the future
