Description

You will collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and produce preventive recommendations. The role also includes evaluating client IT infrastructure, designing scalable and cost-effective solutions, managing deployments and upgrades, and supporting performance/capacity planning. Strong focus is on networking and security with F5 (LTM/GTM) and Palo Alto/Cisco expertise, plus automation and centralized documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex infrastructure incidents; conduct root cause analysis and document preventive actions
  • Assess IT infrastructure maturity; produce assessment reports and improvement opportunities
  • Design scalable, cost-effective network/security infrastructure; review reusable components; document deployed systems
  • Coordinate release schedules and environment readiness; execute deployments; perform post-deployment testing; manage version control
  • Plan maintenance, emergency fixes, and upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted system integration
  • Analyze performance data across systems; support capacity planning
  • Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits; implement security measures and continuity plans
  • Identify automation opportunities by analyzing existing infrastructure processes and proposing enhancements
  • Coordinate with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements
  • Maintain a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge

Requirements

  • Experience with F5 Load Balancers
  • Experience with F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager)
  • Experience with F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager / DNS)
  • Advanced-level experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Cisco routing/switching experience (advanced to intermediate)
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) or 3 years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to relocate and/or travel to project locations
