Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA backend solutions for manufacturing, engineering, and operations analytics. Build and maintain ETL pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources, create scalable data flows and architectures, and ensure data quality through monitoring and troubleshooting. Enable real-time insights and interactive dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud and other visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data flows and architectures for reporting and analytics
• Implement end-to-end data workflows with monitoring to identify and resolve data discrepancies
• Support frontend analytics needs using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other visualization tools
• Enhance business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights based on SAP HANA
• Optimize performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Work with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows and deliver incremental value
• Document and maintain technical best practices, processes, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent roles in the SAP space
• Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript)
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows/data pipelines in SAP environments
• Familiarity integrating SAP systems such as SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA (or legacy systems) into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability for large datasets
• Experience in SAP BW environments is a plus (InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, data transformations)
• Strong understanding of data architecture and hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies; experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
