Description

You will design, develop, and maintain SAP HANA native data models and backend data processing solutions to support complex business processes and analytics in manufacturing, engineering, and operations. The role includes building ETL pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources and enabling robust reporting and real-time dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). You will optimize data processing for large datasets and collaborate in Agile (SAFe) delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, third-party sources)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
• Develop end-to-end data workflows with monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure high data quality and resolve data discrepancies
• Enable real-time insights and interactive dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other visualization tools
• Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights powered by SAP HANA
• Optimize performance for large datasets and complex workflows using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Work with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows (sprints, planning, retrospectives) and deliver incremental stakeholder value
• Document and maintain technical best practices and knowledge sharing for SAP HANA solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development (or equivalent SAP roles)
• Strong hands-on SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, CDS Views, procedures, SQLScript
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments
• Familiarity integrating SAP systems such as SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability for large-scale datasets
• SAP BW experience is a plus (InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, data transformations)
• Understanding of data architecture principles; hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
• Agile methodology experience and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
