Description

Design and maintain SAP HANA data models, ETL pipelines, and backend solutions to support analytics and operational reporting. Build scalable data flows, optimize performance for large datasets, and enable real-time insights through SAP Analytics Cloud and other visualization tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (SAFe) environment while ensuring high data quality via monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines extracting, transforming, and loading data from SAP and non-SAP systems
• Collaborate on scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and reporting
• Implement end-to-end data workflows with monitoring to identify and resolve data discrepancies
• Enable real-time insights and interactive dashboards with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and visualization tools
• Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights
• Optimize data processing performance using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) sprints, planning, and retrospectives; deliver incremental value
• Document and maintain technical best practices and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP HANA development (or equivalent SAP roles)
• Strong hands-on SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows/pipelines in SAP environments (including HANA)
• Familiarity integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy systems into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability for large datasets
• Plus: SAP BW experience (InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, data transformations)
• Strong understanding of data architecture and hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
